May: Enticing Iberia

This month we turn the spotlight on importing dynamo – Patrick Mata. Patrick is the man behind Ole and Obrigado, two companies focusing on Spain and Portugal, respectively. Patrick is a native of Spain and is deeply passionate about all things Iberian and his import work has brought some of the most interesting, engaging and, frankly delicious wines of Spain here to the US.  

Spain represents some of the most traditional and groundbreaking wines in the wine world. We are lucky and happy to have such able guides as Patrick Mata lead the way!
